College Group

Longwood’s own Riverside Community Church College Bible study group!!! Hampden Sydney students as well as any other local college aged people are invited as well.

We meet Wednesdays at 6: 30 pm  in the D Hall Main Lobby. If you are running late we will be eating in the Grand Dining Hall Area.

In our meetings we will talk about God related topics that directly relate to college students in a discussion based Bible study.

How does a Bible Study meeting go?

We usually start off with a group game. We play games like “Catchphrase”, “Taboo”, “Pictionary”, etc.

Then we get down to business by either watching a video, reading an article, or bringing up a controversial topic. Then we see what the Bible has to say about whatever issue it is that we are talking about and discuss it. The discussions are very unbiased and very open. So, anyone can feel comfortable stating their opinion on the matter.

We always end with Prayer. We usually thank God for the good things he has done as well as take prayer requests.
