Hi Bonnie!

To be honest the best advice I can give is to meet often. We've been a bit lax with weigh-ins and getting together as a group and I think that has negatively impacted the event. We made the diet thing individual and had decided that we would have a guy and girls bracket and judge on % lost instead of pounds. We did not meet with any trainers, though I think that wouldn't be a bad idea. We held events like bike rides, canoeing, etc (we're big on the outdoors at Riverside) and encourage people to bring healthy dishes whenever we had luncheons. Good luck!

Hi! I'm Bonnie with Pump Springs Baptist Church and our church is in the early stages of organizing the biggest loser challenge. After seeing this on the internet I thought I would contact you to see if you have any advise or tips on getting started. We are particularly interested in if everyone does the same diet or is it an individual thing. Also, did you have a nutrtionist who gave advise or trainers? Any info you are willing to share would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
